...and I suppose I should've used the title "For Writers" so forgive me. Realized earlier today, after much thought, that the novel I'm writing (which is a sequel to one I completed last year) needs a complete overhaul, more or less scrap a good portion of it because it just isn't working for me. I have had this happen before, of course, what writer hasn't...but this is tough, this time around. Without going into too much boring detail, where the story was going was bordering on the "hard for me to swallow" aspect and I just couldn't continue any longer. I will scrap the 100+ pages and five chapters, plus prologue, but take some scenes, etc, for the new version. Even thinking of combining the previous book and this one into just a larger story, perhaps.
